This 40-hour intensive workshop begins with an opening evening session on
Sunday June 5th, 2022 at 7pm.

Monday-Friday is the same basic daily schedule:

9:30 - 10am Warm-up & Walkabouts
10 - 11am AT Fundamentals
11 - 11:15am Short break
11:15am - 1pm Practicums for Students & Educators
1 - 2:30pm Lunch
2:30 - 4pm Special Interest classes
(Topics announced each day - self select which you want to attend) 
4 - 4:30pm Break and change spaces
4:30 - 6pm Ensemble Master Class
& informal concert w/ applications
6 - 8pm  Dinner
8 - 9:30pm Additional Practice and Study

(There will be opportunities to work one-on-one in a private lesson with one of our CAS faculty, for an additional cost.)

On the evening of Friday June 10th, we will celebrate together at the end of a full week. 

Depart Saturday June 11th.

All prices include tax. No other fees apply.
A 5% group discount is available for groups of 8 or more people.


For those driving, there is an on campus parking fee of $40 a week or $13 a day.

SCHOLARSHIP Assistance

We have done our best to make this event as accessible as possible. If you need further financial assistance than the discounts listed in the tuition chart, please contact us personally and we’ll see what we can do. Work exchanges are available for a couple of local UTA students.


Covid Precautions

We are closely monitoring the evolving local case numbers, variants of concern, and safety recommendations. As it is impossible to know what all of these will look like in June, we will be sending an email to all registered attendees 1-2 weeks prior with the safety protocols we will be using during the event.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Situated within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area, UTA is a diverse academic community of students working together with faculty committed to outstanding teaching, research and scholarship. With a global enrollment of approximately 60,000 students, The University of Texas at Arlington is the largest institution in North Texas.

Our event will be hosted by the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance. We will be learning in the Mainstage Theatre, Studio Theater, Theater Arts Lab Theater/Stage, and the Swift Center Dance Studio.

Arlington is located about a 22-30 minute drive from the DFW airport (average price is around $40 for an uber/lyft). There is no public transportation from the airport to the university.
