Anita Mischuk - AAI Graduate / Music, Voice

Born in Cologne, Germany, Anita Mischuk started playing her first instrument, the recorder, at the age of 5. Her second instrument, voice, led her to studying the Alexander Technique.

Anita graduated from the Alexander Alliance International (AAI), Germany after completing her studies with Bruce Fertman (director of AAI) and Robyn Avalon, director of the Contemporary Alexander Technique School. She moved to Iowa City, IA in 2017 where she opened a private studio.

Currently living in Ohio, Anita maintains her practice in Iowa and has opened her studio in Dayton.

She has worked with musicians at Meadowmount School of Music, with musicians and conductors at the University of Iowa and was a faculty member of the Des Moines Symphony Academy.
